Ran his F1 team for some while, with limited success in terms of results. Then went into sportscars and from there, hillclimbs and the marque arguably, in Italy at least, is perhaps better known in this discipline, having enjoyed great success. A biography of his life came out in 2011. Enzo, like many team owners, started in racing, by racing, and competed in hillclimbs and rallying, before changing his career course in the early 1960's, running an Abarth dealership after a brief spell of working for them. He is sadly in poor health now.
