Son of NASCAR team owner Rick Ware, Cody races for his father's team in NASCAR but has been on the periphery of an Indycar driver for a while. He has a varied racing background, competing in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series in North America, Asian Le Mans and GT4 America. He made his NASCAR debut in 2017 after a spell in NASCAR trucks, but also has motorcycling experience. Ware has Asperger's Syndrome and also has burns on the back of his legs after he was bullied as a child by his friends. He detailed his painful memories in an effort to open up more about male depression.
