Still living in Mansfield, Ohio. No longer involved in racing, he's a landscape gardener who runs his own garden centre. Tuttle attempted to qualify for the CART event at Cleveland in 1982, entering his own Tuttle Landscape-Chevy, but he didn't make the grid. Tuttle has been running his business in his home town since 1980. Tod followed in the footsteps of his grandfather, AC Tuttle, who established a landscaping business and garden shop in 1934 in Mansfield, whilst Tod's son has also followed him in the family business. In 2022, Tod even returned to racing, doing some SCCA racing in historic Super Vee.
