Carried on racing until nearly 60 years of age. Now retired from driving, but runs a car business in his hometown of Burton. Ruble had over 200 races in top-line sprint car series, entering his own car, largely competing in the All Star Circuit of Champions, recording his best Championship finish of seventh in 2006. Ruble worked closely with sprint car engine builder Jim Brauer and when Brauer died, Ruble carried on his memory by putting his name on the car. Ruble's CART foray saw four non-qualifications or attempts, 3 in a Kingfisher-Chevrolet and 1 in a Wildcat-Cosworth.
