Now retired from driving. Still living in Wood Dale, where he works as a car restorer and still follows the sport. Also spends a lot of his time working on a support group to support and advise divorced fathers and has numerous other business interests or varying roles around that region over the years. Rick had two cracks at CART (or the IRL) and in-between these efforts, he also raced in Formula Super Vee. His 1996 attempt saw him enter his own car, but with no tangible success. He last raced in 2006, in selected SCCA sportscar events.
