Marketing expert who only had a few races in single-seaters; he also competed in the West Coast Formula Atlantic Series in 1988. Still works in marketing, as he is the managing general partner of a venture capital and private equity marketing firm in Manhattan Beach, California. He also previously worked as a director of research and development at IGC Engineering, which he took up a few years after finishing racing. Ron still lives in Manhattan Beach and although he enjoys racing still, his other passion is water polo; he works in administrative roles for his local water polo association.
