Another kart graduate, Sowery moved to the MSV Formula 3 Cup, winning the title in his first year of single-seater racing. He also took the MRF Formula 2000 title in 2015, which earned him a nomination for the McLaren Autosport BRDC Young Driver. He shone in Formula 3, winning 7 races in 2016 and 2017, but had to move to sportscars thereafter. His performances were impressive and it helped him with an Indycar drive in 2024.
