Given an Indycar chance in 2024, Ghiotto was a long-time driver in Formula 2, competing over 90 times between 2017 and 2022, with six wins and a best place of third place in the Championship. As well as Formula E testing duties (for Nissan), Ghiotto also tested in Formula 1 for Williams back in 2017. He also raced in GP3, Formula Renault 3.5 Series, Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, Formula Renault 2.0 Alps and NEC and Formula Abarth. By the time of his graduation to Indycar and a return to single seaters, Ghiotto was racing sportscars.
