Died after a fall when horse-riding. One of the original 'Bentley Boys'. Bentley's London agent who raced mainly to help his dealership, Duff was well travelled, well spoken and a very good racer, especially in sportscars. Raced in the US for some while before a crash led to him retiring. Also broke many speed records. Duff's most notable moment was winning the 1924 Le Mans race. Of Canadian parentage, Duff grew up largely in Hamilton, Ontario before enlisting into the British Army where he rose to the rank of Captain, but was badly wounded in the third Battle of Ypres in 1917. When war was announced, he travelled all the way from China - via Russia - to fight for Britain. Sent to England to recover - where the nurse who treated him then became his wife, he lived there for a while before his US move. When in the US, he ran a fencing school and also worked as a stuntman in Hollywood movies as a horse rider.
