Son of Tom Jones, the Canadian ice-racer and rally driver, John - whose brother Hunter also raced - now lives in Denver, Colorado. Spends a lot of time as a racing driver instructor. John won three major titles in his career; the IMSA GTO Class title in 1985 and the 1982 and 1983 Canadian FF2000 series. Jones initially worked as a miner in a gold mine in the Canadian Arctic to raise money to go racing, which he did by going ice-racing initially before switching between sportscars and single-seater racing.
