Involved in the Formula Renault series in Brazil, but his main role is as the boss of his own Carcasci Sports event management company. As well as the event management, Paulo's business helps Brazillian driving hopefuls with sponsorship and career development. Also runs a kart track. He returned to racing in 2022 in the GT4 America Series. Paulo was 1991 Japanese Formula 3 champion, who prior to his move Far East, raced in a variety of Formula Ford and Formula Opel series, before his big breakthrough in Japan. He stayed there for around 4 years, racing in their Formula 3000 series.
