Former test driver for Red Bull's F1 team, Robert moved to the CCWS in 2007, but the IRL merger saw him lose his seat. Has since raced in GT's, A1 GP and Formula Superleague, as well as some other endurance and some tests for Red Bull again, before returning to the US and the IRL in 2009. Moved into Formula Superleague after that, but in 2012, announced his retirement as finance, safety concerns and a lack of interest from him and for him combined to call it a day. But also his young daughter was fighting - and happily won - a fight against cancer so racing wasn't of interest to Robert. Although he works in motorsport media, his business interests take most of his time up these days - he co-founded and runs a high-tech sex-toy manufacturing business. A huge crash sustained in America means he can't remember many long-term memories any more.
