More recently a racer in Grand-Am. He also made a surprise return to the Indy 500 in 2006 and followed that up in 2007, but an accident left him missing the race and led to a short lay-off through injury. After recovering, he was in endurance, but is now retired. Is now a US citizen, living in Indianapolis, and he runs a driving programme at the Speedway, specifically for teenagers to avoid the high rate of accidents they are involved in. Gregoire enjoyed a long career with decent progression in French lower formulae, which included winning the French Formula 3 B Class Championship back in 1990.
