Jeret was involved with the ''Indycar Experience'' promotional program, where he drove a two-seater Indycar, so that members of the public experienced first-hand what it's like to go round the tracks at near 200mph. That was his last direct involvement with the sport and now works in real estate and runs a few restaurants. Jeret progressed through the US Formula 2000 National Championship and Toyota Atlantic to earn an IRL seat in 1999. His best result in the category came one year later with a fourth place at the Las Vegas Speedway.
