Later ran a garage specialising in Porsche cars in Geneva, where he lived until his death in 2007. Raced in many hillclimbs, although this was partly because of the ban on circuit racing in his homeland. Heinz actually started racing in another sport; speedboat racing, where he took many wins. He then took up motor racing and sportscars in the mid 1950's. After his brief Grand Prix spell, Schiller then spent time in GT cars and hillclimbing once again before stopping in the late 1960's to run his dealership.
