Ran an aviation company, called Transvalair, which is largely a cargo plane business travelling from Switzerland to Africa. Also keeps links with the sport, as he often appears (and very occasionally competes) at historics. Quit competitive racing in 1965 after an accident put him off and hit his financial backing, meaning his career was pretty short having also raced sportscars and Formula 2 in 1964. Later became a pilot for Asiana. Rudaz currently lives in Sion, and also builds models of every plane he ever flew.
