Rising talent killed after suffering grevious burns in the 1958 Moroccan GP, dying in hospital a few weeks later. Followed his father into the sport, this hard but fast racer had success in F3, where he spent the majority of his career and proved himself. Began racing in 1951 and largely stayed in F3 until he joined Connaught at the end of 1956, which then led on to his two seasons of Grand Prix racing with them.
