Sadly died in 2014. Until recently, he was still visiting vintage meetings, and tried to attend the annual New Hampshire International Speedway's historic events. Served in the US Navy in WW2, and worked as an airline executive for over 30 years, specialising in air cargo, in which he obtained his degree in before the war. Amongst other things, he also founded a detective agency. Later enjoyed restoring antique cars.
