Brother of Justin, Stefan followed his older brother to the US. After a somewhat patchy career, Stefan finally got his Indycar break in 2013. Stefan appeared at the Indianapolis 500 in 2016. The rest of his time is currently aimed at helping Justin's family after his sibling's tragic death in 2015, working on projects regarding Justin's legacy, but also supporting and liasing with the Indiana Donor Network - who also sponsor Stefan - to promote organ and tissue donation and transplants, as five people lived after Justin's organs were donated. In 2017, Wilson was due to return to the Indianapolis 500, but stood aside to let Fernando Alonso race. As a result, Wilson was assured of a drive at the 2018 Indianapolis 500 instead so Stefan focused on that as well as the new Electric GT series and some sportscar racing. He wasn't able to find an Indianapolis 500 drive for 2019 but returned in 2021 and 2022, a year that he also raced in the IMSA sportscar championship. In 2023, Stefan was again at the Indy 500 but was ruled out with an injury after qualifying comfortably.
