Successful in British lower formulae, Mark took a risk moving to the US and the Infiniti Pro Series, but it was a gamble that initially worked. However, after losing his seat in the IRL series, he quit racing, and is now back in the UK, working in the family property development business. Like so many other current racers, Mark started in karts, then moved to Formula Ford, coming second in the 2000 British series and then moved to Formula Three. He became the Infiniti Pro Series champion in 2003 but just one year later had left the sport for good.
