Local driver who competed in road and circuit racing in both his home country and Argentina. Uria was one of the main competitors of the boom that occured in his homeland between the early to late 1950's, primarily racing in touring cars. He entered two successive Grand Prix events in Argentina in his own Maserati, retiring in 1955 from a lack of fuel, before finishing 6th the following year in a shared drive with fellow countryman Oscar Gonzalez.
