The first Argentine driver in a generation and the first to score points in over 40 years, Franco got a Williams Formula 1 drive for the 2nd half of the F1 season in 2024. Winner of the Spanish Formula 4 championship in 2019, Franco, who is of Italian descent, has also raced in Euroformula Open, Formula Renault Eurocup, Asian Le Mans, European Le Mans, the World Endurance Championship, Formula 3 and Formula 2. He won four times in Formula 3, once in Formula 2 and was lying sixth in the F2 standings when he got his call-up; impressing immediately by scoring points in only his second race.
