Until 2024, he was head of operations at Renault engines, despite a very disappointing 2014 and 2015 for the engine manufacturer. After more trouble with the Alpine team, White left in 2024. White worked for Jaguar as an apprentice, before joining Cosworth in the US. Later became Track Manager for Cosworth USA, before moving into F1 in 1997, still with Cosworth. In 2003, he joined Renault as the engine technical director, a role that he effectively remained in since, although in more recent years he became operations director for the whole Alpine F1 team. Now based in France.
