AAA irregular in the early '30's, mainly on board and oval tracks, largely based in either his home state or the surrounding areas. His most notable result was probably the 10th place he achieved in the 1932 Indianapolis 500. Huff raced a number of front-wheel drive cars whilst the front wheel drive was still in a pioneering stage in America.He later worked as a mechanic in the 1950's in the quarter midgets discipline.
