Dirt-track racer of the early to mid-1930's who tried, but failed, to qualify an outdated Miller entered by Donald Greene in both 1940 and 1941. Lipscomb also raced in sprint and big car racing and was predominantly based in California. His two Indianapolis 500 attempts were his only racing attempts at AAA level.
