Raced and tested GTR cars in Australia and also competed in drag racing but then became seriously ill with leukaemia. Happily, he has made a full recovery and even returned to racing again, in GT's. He started racing in sedans in New South Wales before becoming a production car driver, taking three class championships in a row from 1995 onwards. It was some surprise then in 1998, instead of going into V8 racing, he moved to British Formula 3. He did reasonably but a move to Formula 3000 was a tough one, with only a few qualifications all season. He now lives in Sydney, preparing and racing Drag Cars from his Croydon Racing Developments workshop. His son, Radovan, became a professional footballer.
