Andreas pretty much finished racing after Formula 3000, having progressed from karting in 1996. Whilst in single-seaters, Andreas dovetailed his progression with spells in the FIA GT series and the ADAC Super Touring Car Championship. That, however, was the start of a concentration on a successful business career. He has been involved in sportscar car sales and the family-run haulage and logistics company since before he stopped racing, but Andreas has now gone into trading and banking, having lived in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates since 2006. Initially he was a trader of fuel and gas, then added financial bonds, currency, diamonds and many other commodities in 2011. He now also runs a large investment business and a mining and shipping business.
