Elder brother of Al, who also raced, following Bruce into racing despite the death of his brother. Bruce was killed in the Milwaukee Mile. Miller tried to avoid a car that had spun, but couldn't and was thrown from his car into the path of another car. Bruce competed in a variety of disciplines, including dirt track racing and had only recently won a 500 mile race in Detroit a few months before his death. Bruce worked as a stock chaser in an automobile factory in Detroit. Miller was married for just ten months before his early demise.
