Progressed to the IRL after a few years in US lower formulae, but didn't get many drives after that. Was in the European Le Mans series briefly, but is no longer racing. Now lives in the US and Miami, Florida, where he has returned to his previous love, of flying - he is a trained commercial airline pilot, and as a teenager, flew helicopters from Brazil to Bolivia. During his racing, Camara moved up the Brazillian racing ranks, before moving to the US in 2005 to compete in Indy Pro.
