Toto, birth name Torger, has been Mercedes team principal for a number of successful years, as well as being a key shareholder and investor in the team after a spell at Williams. Toto raced in Austrian and German Formula Ford whilst he also took a class win in the 1994 Nurburging 24 Hours and also competed in GT events. He also spent time as a racing instructor. However this was a sideline to his investment companies, mainly focusing on internet and technology. Toto is of Polish and Romanian ancestry and is also involved in a rally parts business, a sports management company which he works with former Mercedes-powered driver Mika Hakkinen and also has investments in Williams and Aston Martin. Toto is married to Susie Wolff (née Stoddart), a former racer who is now a Formula E team principal.
