No relation to Len, but brother Ralph also raced. Died tragically of diphtheria. Ormsby's only appearance at Indianapolis was a relief driver to Jack Curtner for a few laps. However Ormsby was far from a nobody in the sport. Helped by his brother Ralph to get into the sport (Ralph was one of Frontenac's leading drivers), Ormsby won the 1922 100 mile race in Toldeo, Ohio, beating his brother. Ralph got the upper hand later that year in the opening event of the new Hoosier Speedway, winning the race with Homer coming second.
