Formula Renault 3.5 Champion in 2009, Bertrand was Conquest's driver for the 2010 Indycar Series season, but in 2011, only managed to race in the Indianapolis 500 solely, whilst looking for a full drive. Now Bertrand has a full-time ride, after a successful spell in the World Endurance Championship, in Japan - in the Super GT series which he continues, now into his eleventh year, in 2024.
