1995 ARCA Racing Series Champion, Andy was also known for his experience in stock cars, but he achieved more success in sprint cars. Ran his own stock car team, but is now president of the Fast Track High Performance Driving School in Indianapolis and now also owns the Rockingham Speedway (formerly the North Carolina Speedway). Also runs a racing team in both NASCAR World Trucks and in ARCA. Hillenburg has also worked as an actor (Herbie: Fully Loaded and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby) and as a technical advisor to some racing films. In 2020, Andy was awarded the General Tire Spirit Award for his efforts to ARCA.
