Dirt track racer, who was decent in local races, in which he mainly raced, but on the big stage, failed to make any impression. Grecco, often listed as Greco, raced for aeons, initially starting in dirt oval track racing in the mid-1920's. He entered a Miller for qualification at Indianapolis in 1929, but failed to qualify and his subsequent entries ended the same way. However this didn't deter him from racing as he continued in dirt oval racing until the Second World War and then also afterwards, finally retiring in the late 1940's. From 1946 onwards, he built and entered his own cars in events.
