Mainly works as a car tuner these days, although he also has links with the McLaren sports road cars. Now lives in Miami Beach, Florida. Borkowski's breakthrough year racing-wise was in 1997, in Trans-Am, when he won the Rookie of the Year, 2 races and came third in the series. Borkowski's speciality became sportscars though, racing in the ALMS, SCCA World Challenge and Grand-Am series on and off until 2012.
