Indy Pro graduate who raced in the last IRL race of the season in 2007 and then full-time in the series for 2008. Stayed in the IRL for two more seasons, but is now back in Japan and Super GT, where he is an experienced candidate now. He is more part-time now, acting as a reserve driver but coronavirus restrictions to foreigners has led Mutoh to racing a few times. He also appears in Super Taikyu. Prior to his time in America, Hideki raced in Britain, competing in Formula Vauxhall, before moving up to European Formula 3 and then the Asian Formula 2000 series. He then competed in Japanese Formula 3, Super GT and Formula Nippon before his moved to the United States.
