Dutch-born GP2 midfield runner who was in single-seaters in Europe for some while. In 2011, he attempted the Indianapolis 500, but was by and large, in endurance events in Asia, including the Asian Le Mans Series. However, tight quarantine rules in Hong Kong and China, due to coronavirus, have caused Tung significant disruption to his career. In 2023, with less restrictions, he was able to compete in Super Taikyu. Tung has won three titles in his career - the 2003 Formula BMW Championship, the 2006 ATS Formel 3 Cup and then the LMP2 class of the Asian Le Mans Series in 2014. Although Tung races on occasion, and is a racing analyst on television, his main role now is as a businessman. After graduating with a MBA during COVID-19, he currently heads up the private office of Knight Frank – a global property consultancy – in Hong Kong.
