Killed in an air crash when the biplane he and another man were flying crashed. Greek born, George was a businessman and racing mechanic, who raced from 1915 onwards, then moved into aviation. Buzane was starting to make a name for himself until 1917, when a truck hit him in the street as he got out of a car, and this led to a long lay-off. He failed to qualify after damage to the car but he was still not in peak condition. Although Buzane had settled in the US for some years, living in Chicago, Illinois, and was married to an American, he held joint citizenship with Greece.
