A US racing legend. Was a car owner and designer, promotion man and many more during his long spell in the sport. He was in charge for some years of the STP brand and motorsport then became entwined with the STP branding thanks to Andy's drive and passion. Later became a successful business entrepreneur in California, and also ran a supercharger business and had a number of property interests. Died after suffering from congestive heart failure. Before he got into racing, he was involved, with his brothers, in running a gas station and then a racing parts manufacturing concern. He only had a brief shot as a driver but a crash ended any plans to take that further.
