Remained, until 2018, involved with Formula 1 through his directorship at Force India, but no longer has direct involvement with the sport. Son of a software businessman, Mol graduated in computer science and them himself went into software, founding the Lost Boys Corporation. Lost Boys merged with a Swedish company in the early 2000's and is now a division of the Sony's computer game arm. Mol is also the founder of Space Expedition Corporation, which is a business that is aiming to provide space tourism and scientific space missions from Curacao.
