Started his career with Amedee Gordini, before being involved with Renault F1's, rally and sportscar engine design. After a spell in research and development, Boudy moved to Peugeot as a designer again, with great success. He also briefly served as technical director of the Peugeot motorsport operation. In more recent years, he has involved in the sport as a design engineer and in the PURE engine project led by Craig Pollock. Now works as an independent design consultant.
