Now works as a racing driver instructor and commentator for TV. He also worked, for a while, as executive director of the Super Truck Racing Association of North America, which oversees all super truck racing in the US and Canada. Till started racing very late and was twenty-three when he started karting. He qualified from Baylor University in 1985 with a degree in marketing and journalism and only once he had obtained that, did he go racing cars. However Brian was also a race instructor for the Skip Barber school whilst continuing to race. He won the 1990 North American Formula Atlantic Eastern Division Championship before moving up to Champcars for a few seasons. In 2019, he was diagnosed with throat and tonsil cancer but is planning to return to commentating in 2020 after treatment.
