Great Britain |

Jack was given his Formula 1 chance by Williams at the end of the 2020 season. A graduate of Formula Renault Eurocup, he took the 2015 Championship and also won the Formula Renault Alps title that year. Two years in GP3 followed, coming second to George Russell, with whom he followed into Formula 2. It was Russell's move to Mercedes for one race to replace the poorly Lewis Hamilton that allowed Aitken his Formula 1 chance, although he had been on the periphery since 2016 as a Renault or Williams official reserve. Aitken was born and has lived in England for most of his life but he has a Scottish father and a South Korean mother. Aitken's Korean name is Han Se-Yong. In 2021, Jack raced in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup with a couple of events in Formula 2 as well and continued in the former for 2022. In 2023, he cut his ties with Williams and Formula 1 and decided to concentrate on a sportscar career full-time, racing in IMSA in 2025. He also works as a commentator and has also appeared in the DTM.
