Formula 3 starlet - winner of the 2003 British F3 National Class - who moved to GP2. Also acted as a test driver for the Spyker F1 team. In 2008, he moved to the IRL and stayed there until 2013, under the moniker of EJ Viso. Ernesto moved to truck racing in 2014 in Robby Gordon's Speed Energy Formula Off-Road series, winning a number of races and returned to the series in 2015. Venezuela's financial problems prevented an initial return in 2016, but EJ has since rejoined the series and won a race in Australia in July 2016. He hasn't raced in 2017 or 2018 and now, still based in America, works as a driver coach.
