Nominally a businessman, Ola was in charge of the Mercedes powertrain and supply department in 2009. Formerly head of AMG, he worked on the firm's V8 engines, but also worked for Mercedes in the US in manufacturing. He has also worked in the UK in engine development for Mercedes. Now in charge of the Daimler division within the firm. Studied at the Stockholm School of Economics before doing a year of military service. This led to him beginning endurance friendships which saw him found the Baltic Exchange Programme which saw university students in both Sweden and Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania cross over and discover new opportunities. Kallenius also learned Russian during this point.
