Came into racing at 25, when his father formed a team for him, after Rick had spent time flying planes and working in the construction business - indeed, he then became a president of a construction company. However, since 2006, he has been involved in a new venture away from both fields; Lake Trash. Lake Trash is a water sports social club that allows people to take part in water sports, boating and other activities, but he is also involved with lake maintenance and environment issues, boat sales and repairs and clothing.
