Longtime based in Japan, but has returned to Europe for now, initially to race in endurance events but now also to be a test driver, developer and ambassador with road car and business projects with Nissan. He did race in both Super GT as well as the World Endurance Championship. Krumm, for a long time, was married to Japanese tennis player Kimiko Date (they divorced in 2016), and is a multiple title winner - he won the German Formula Ford title in 1989, German Formula Vauxhall title in 1990, Japanese Formula 3 in 1994, two Japanese Super GT titles and the 2011 FIA GT1 Championship.
