Based in both the US and Peru. Founder of Automundo, the most successful US motors magazine in Spanish. Jorge is still the publisher and journalist for the magazine, but has other business interests, and was a member of Congress in his homeland. He still has political interests. His great-grand uncle, Paul, competed in the very first motor race, the 1895 Paris-Boulogne-Paris event. As a racer, Koechlin was based in Britain for a while, competing in Formula Ford, Formula Three and the Formula Aurora series. He then moved to the US and then latterly his home country where he competed in long-distance touring and tallying events.
