Very successful sprint car champion, still racing in the discipline. Also has raced in the Nationwide series recently, as well as ARCA and rallycross. Brian started racing very young, competing in motorcycle races aged just eight years of age. In 1982, he switched to four wheels and impressed immediately. One year later he started in sprint cars, progressing well to make his USAC Sprint Car Series debut in 1990. In 1995, he won his first USAC race and only one year later, he took the USAC Sprint Car Championship despite not winning a race. He retained his title, but more dominantly, the following year and remained a strong competitor for the next fifteen years. Brian has also been based, for racing reasons, in both Indiana and North Carolina over the years, although in 2019, he appeared in New Zealand sprint cars and in 2023, appeared in South African sprint car racing.
