Grandson of his legendary namesake. Raced in the IRL for his grandfather's team and became one of the youngest drivers ever to start the Indy 500, when he qualified for the 2003 event. Moved to the Busch Series, but it was not a success. Since the birth of AJ Foyt V in 2010, he is now largely out of racing, and is currently working as a scout for the Indianapolis Colts NFL team, as he is the son-in-law of the Colts owner and helps run the family vineyard. In 2017, however, he returned for an off-race; the Indy Legends Pro-Am race.
